This week was for recording. My friend Brian has been helping me flesh out some songs I've been working on and this week, it feels like that's been really top of mind. So here's a list of stuff that's been inspiring me amidst allllladat.
Song Exploder (Best podcast name I've heard in a while..)
Sound Exploder is a podcast on soundcloud that takes some prized songs and talks to the artist about their recording process. Could not recommend this enough to anyone needing some inspiration in a songwriting drought. Go check it!

When I was younger I absolutely loved NPR's Project Song. I would sit and watch every episode around the same time and then I started writing music myself! Now that I'm back recording again, I've rediscovered Moby's session and I'm v happy I did. Oh, nostalgia...
Currently obsessed with Twin Peaks. Just found out who killed Laura Palmer. Like literally 5 min. ago, am freaking out. A little bit in shock, a little bit annoyed I was in shock and didn't realize sooner... But regardless, here's a list of the best sweaters in Twin Peaks. And who doesn't love a good sweater?

My friends Mark and Jed are on tour! I just caught them at The Shrine in Harlem last weekend and they were amazing (per usual). But one of my favorite things about seeing friends on tour is discovering then new bands they play with. Just started listening to Curtis Cooper, who they're playing with on their Philly date! Can.
