So I caught The Districts at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn around this time last year. I had originally intended to check out Sylvan Esso at their late show, but my friend Justin had heard of The Districts and they were playing an early show at the same venue, so why not do both?
And damn. just damn. They were incredible. so much energy, so catchy, so great. Something about the quality of his voice, just seriously blows me away and almost makes me want to cry at the same time.
Now they have a new album coming out. NPR just posted a First Listen of The District's new album and La Blogotheque just released a video of their songs 4th and Roebling AND Suburban Smell off their new album.
